Eglė Tamulytė - Shaltmira had been a long time collaborator with English composer and musician Michael Cashmore, contributing with her voice, lyrics and live performances to the legendary masterpieces of this musical genius.

Thank you everyone, who came to see and hear and support us yesterday, at OrtSchauspielhaus,Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2019. Huge thanks to Michael Cashmore (official) for inviting me collaborate and create together, this was our second concert, the first we played in Berlin last year, at Astra Kulturhaus Berlin, warming up Psychic TV / PTV3. Thank you, organizers, for inviting us and taking care of our stay so well. It was incredibly powerful celebration of OUR TRANSFORMATION, celebration of mental alchemy, electric discharge which caused the lightning storm in Leipzig! The sky turned black and the rain washed the streets and our sins. The message was delivered! Thank you everyone. Eternal Love and Light from us both.

It was such a wonderful day. I asked hotel if I can use sauna, I did, had contrast shower with super cold water. Then we with my bandmate Michael went to the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, so impressive! We ate hot dogs in front of it! And then we had concert, it was so intense, I shared my life story on stage, some people could not handle it and left as I said from the stage: run demons, run! It was like a public exorcism session. And then after concert the storm started, I believe we made it happen, God was washing all sins away! Then we with Michael had nice dinner in hotel, I had salmon stake and local cake, so delicious ! I'm so very grateful for everything, such a wonderful day. After it, decided to stay sober and cut out all the crap, now only poison still left is my vape, but will come an end for it too soon :) Thank you, Leipzig and Wave Gotik Treffen for treating us so well!! We are the messangers of God, doing our job 🙏♥️

Better known for his work as Nature and Organisation (a project perhaps unsurpassed in its genre) as well as collaborations with artists and bands such as Current 93, Nick Cave, Mark Almond, Antony and the Johnsons and more,Michael Cashmore returns reinvented and transformed.
The Doctrine of Transformation Through Love 1 (Klanggalerie, June 2019) reflects Cashmore’s own personal positive transformation.
While the new music is itself a consequence of Cashmore’s newfound attitude, I think the music itself in turn acts as a therapeutic tool for the artist himself, thus creating a positive loop. This feeling, as evidenced by the song titles themselves, Cashmore wishes to transmit to his listeners.
Featuring vocals by Lithuanian-born Shaltmira and English singer-songwriter Bill Fay, the album seeks to capture a journey through darkness to light, via music that, differing to what Cashmore is generally known for, delves into 80s synthpop, experimental, ambient, electronic and techno inspired music, culminating in a piano piece featuring vocals by Bill Fay.
People who are not constrained by genre and are open to variety in music should give it a go. Available in CD and/or digital format from Klanggalerie.
